A. Shaft stops-Acts as brakes and should go behind the shaft loops on the harness.

B. Heavy duty wheels-These wheels can hold up to 200lbs ea. No-flat inner tubes can be added for a sturdier wheel.

C. Adjustable seat-You want your seat positioned so that there is a small amount of weight pushing down on the shafts.

D. Singletree-Traces slide over the ends of the singletree.

Shafts may be narrow on the cob and horse size carts and can be widened approx 3"

A. Bridle w/blinders-The blinders keep the horse from seeing what is behind and around him. Its good to keep the bridle on before the cart is attached and before its removed.

B. Overcheck-This attaches to the bit and the top of the saddle to keep the horses head up.  It helps to prevent him eating grass or even kicking. A side check can also be used.

C. Saddle & Girth-This should be snug around your horses belly, but not to tight.

D. Shaft loops or tugs-Shafts go through these up to the shaft stops on your cart.

E. Reins

F. Traces-Attach to the breastcollar and slides over the ends of the singletree.

G. Neck strap-Attaches to breastcollar and reins go through the rings on top.

H. Crupper-Attaches to saddle and slides through hip straps.

J. Hip straps-Attach to breeching

K. Breeching-Acts as your brakes

L. Breeching straps-These can attach to the tug stops on the cart or be wrapped around the shafts.
